We had a wood stove installed in August. Now we can start burning our vast supply of wood scraps and cleaning up the dead timber we have nearby.

The Stove
It is a Hearthstone Tribute soap-stone stove, designed to burn clean and retain heat for a long time.

Installing the stove.
The stove was purchased from Salida Stove & Spa in Salida, Colorado. Their stalwart employees, Nathan and Courtney are seen here working away on the installation, late on a friday afternoon.
