Draw Wrap
Black Marker Pattern
Solid-color paper is the blank canvas of the wrap artist. Once the present is wrapped, you are free to improvise.
Contrast: white/black: the opposites of brightness. Angled strokes/ retangular box.
Easy: no fancy drawing, just add single strokes until it is filled up.

Draw Wrap
The Package is the Label
I drew in the lettering in light pencil and then colored it with markers, adding a black outline for contrast. The lettering becomes the decoration.
Contrast: bright color/dull color. Pattern/no pattern.

Draw Wrap
Ribbon, Bow and Paper Pattern by Hand
People love illusion. I pencil in the ribbon and bow. Pencil lightly and you will be able to correct the drawing. The red inner lines and the black outlines are done in a rough, broken style. Then I applied the pattern on the paper.
Easy: the rough, broken style of the red and black lines makes it easier to color in the ribbon. It is permissive of error, and uses less ink.
Not so Easy: To be perfectly honest, hand drawn bows are going to be easy for some people, and no-so-easy for others. But, you should give it a try because even a crudely drawn bow will have the charm of illusion.

Draw Wrap
Ribbon and Bow by Hand
This time I used colored pencil for the ribbon's color. I pencil in the ribbon and bow. I color in the ribbon with rough strokes. A dark outline gives the ribbon more focus. I added some shadow to the bow's parts to enhance the illusion
Easy: the messy coloring style speeds up the job.

Draw Wrap
Ribbon, Bow and Paper Pattern by Hand
This draw wrap uses marker for the base coloring of the paper and the bow. Then I added colored pencil additions to the ribbon and bow (orange and magenta). I finished it off with an black outline in brushed ink.
Extra Credit: this is a fancy piece of wrap art. Sometimes you just want to spend the time.
